In 1889, T.G. Schweiger opened a small carpentry shop in Kansas City, Missouri, that in a few years time expanded to include a mill, lumberyard, and reputation for quality work.
Over the past 119 years, with the dedication of four generations of Schweigers, Schweiger Construction Company has:
Provided over $2.5 Billion in construction services encompassing over 50,000 construction projects ranging in value from $5.00 (1900 dollars), to over $100 million.
Expended over 5,000,000 labor hours while delivering projects for over 50 of the US' then-largest corporations and countless public entities at the local, state, and federal level.
In each and every one of the past 50 years (or more), completed over 5,000 installations for telecommunications providers including systems upgrades, new repeater stations, MLOS equipment shelters, Regen and Point-of-Presence facilities.
Built new industrial plants, churches, schools, factories, institutional facilities, shops and barns; and epaired or installed doors, ceiling, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and floors.
We were neighbors, corporate citizens, community partners, business partners and friends while
Two World Wars, the Great Depression, Economic Expansions and Economic Recessions,
the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Energy Crisis
the Cold War and the Gulf War, Globalization and Global Warming
unfurled on the national stage.
We continue to grow and prosper for one simple reason- our ongoing commitment to helping our customers build their futures.
