Carol Meharry

CEO

Carol has extensive expertise in Procurement and Contract Management leading Schweiger’s Contract Manager and Critical Facilities Group leader, ensuring efficient source selection and contract oversight. As the great-granddaughter of Schweiger’s founder, she upholds the company’s legacy of integrity and excellence, driving innovation in project execution with a focus on risk management and bid evaluation.

Jay Bluhm

President

Jay is a seasoned business leader adept in technical knowledge, competitive analysis, communication, program management, and team development, particularly in spectrum, wireless, and wireline technologies. He has pioneered numerous industry advancements such as the first national CDMA 200 network and commercial IMS systems in the US, earning recognition as a top performer with awards like the Leadership Excellence Award, and holds a degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University.

Steve Barthol

Vice President

With 23 years of construction experience, Steve is responsible for executive management and oversight of all Administration and Retail Projects. Steve joined the Schweiger Construction team in 2007. Steve maintained a Construction Management degree with an emphasis in Company Management from Pittsburg State University. He has successfully managed projects of all sizes, building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality results across commercial sectors. Steve’s commitment to excellence and strategic vision continue to drive growth and innovation within the company.

Steve Bradley

Vice President

Steve has extensive experience working in Mission Critical Environments throughout his 30 year career that includes pharmaceutical production facilities, data center construction and expansions and telecommunication switching centers. Steve’s strong management, project management and MEP experience provide Schweiger Construction with a high level of expertise and understanding of the sequencing and steps required to design, construct, commission and validate projects with a large MEP component. Steve has extensive experience working with clients, architects and engineers during pre-construction activities in areas of system design, operation, maintenance and constructability.

Stephen "Alan" Gore

VP of Operations

Alan has been working at some level of construction going all the way back to high school. He went on to get his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering at Texas Tech and later moved to Kansas to obtain his Masters of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Kansas.  Alan has always worked full time at some level of Project Management in active construction projects while acquiring his degrees. Alan has always had a great aspiration to stay abreast in the technical side, acquiring his Professional Engineering Licenses in Kansas and Missouri. While maintaining the practical construction side in the last 20+ years at either Senior PM, Project Executive and Owner level, he has added Qualifying Agent and Special Inspection certifications through NASCLA, ICC, and other jurisdictions for over 19 current states before joining SCC in 2025.
